1. What Data We Collect

Sentry temporarily stores the following minimal data to provide its anti-phishing service:

• Server IDs - To identify which server settings belong to which server.
• User IDs - To track warning counts for specific users.
• Warning Counts - Number of warnings a user has received (0-3).
• Feature Statuses - Whether Discord invite blocking is enabled per server.
• Log Channel Settings - Which channel receives moderation logs (if configured by admins).

Message content is never permanently stored. Messages are scanned in real-time for phishing links and immediately discarded.

2. How We Store Data

All data is temporarily stored in a local SQLite database on the bot's host server. Key points:

• Temporary Storage: Data is only kept as long as needed for the warning system to function.
• No Cloud Storage: No data is stored in external databases, cloud services, or third-party servers.
• No Tracking: We do not use any analytics, tracking services, or telemetry.
• No Sharing: Data is never sold, traded, or shared with third parties.

3. How Long We Keep Data

Data retention follows these temporary storage rules:

• User Warnings: Stored temporarily until the user is kicked from the server OR the bot is removed from the server.
• Server Settings: Stored temporarily until the bot is removed from the server.
• Feature Statuses: Stored temporarily until the bot is removed from the server.

This is temporary storage by design. Data is not meant to be kept long-term.

4. Automatic Data Deletion

Sentry automatically deletes your data in the following situations:

• When you are kicked: If you are kicked from a server (either automatically after 3 warnings or manually by an admin), all your warning data for that server is immediately deleted from the SQLite database.
• When the bot leaves a server: If Sentry is removed from a server, ALL data associated with that server is permanently deleted from the database, including all user warnings, server settings, log channels, and feature configurations.

5. Requesting Data Deletion

You can request manual deletion of your data at any time by:

• Joining our Support Server
• Providing your Discord User ID for verification
• Specifying which server's data you want deleted (or all servers)

Once we verify your identity, we will remove all associated data from the SQLite database within 48 hours.

6. What Data Is NOT Collected

• No personal information (emails, real names, phone numbers, addresses)
• No IP addresses or location data
• No message history or archived messages
• No private/DM channel content beyond immediate phishing scanning
• No analytics, tracking, or telemetry data
• No Discord tokens or authentication data
• No voice channel data
• No message content (scanned and discarded immediately)

7. Third-Party Sharing

Sentry does not share, sell, trade, or transfer any data to third parties. The only exception is if required by law enforcement with a valid legal request. We have no advertising partners, analytics providers, or data brokers. All data stays in the local SQLite database on the bot's host server.

8. Data Security

All data is stored locally in a SQLite database on the bot's host server. Access is restricted to the bot operator only. While we take reasonable measures to protect data, no system is 100% secure. However, given the minimal nature of the data (only Server IDs, User IDs, warning counts, and feature statuses), the risk is very low.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access - Request a copy of any data we store about you
• Deletion - Request deletion of your data from our SQLite database
• Correction - Request correction of inaccurate data
• Restriction - Request restriction of processing

To exercise any of these rights, contact us through our support server with verification. We will respond within 48 hours.

10. Children's Privacy

Sentry does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Discord's minimum age requirement is 13, and we rely on Discord's age verification. If we discover we have collected data from a user under 13, we will delete it immediately upon discovery.

11. International Users

By using Sentry, you consent to the temporary storage and processing of your data as described in this policy. Data is stored only on the bot's host server and is not transferred internationally except as required to provide the service.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of Sentry after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
